It’s a hard job, but somebody’s got to do it! Tom Hewson, correspondent to Decanter magazine, has committed his life to becoming the connoisseur of Champagne & English Sparkling wines. Having recently tasted more than 200 of the UK’s finest bubbles, he has narrowed down five of his favourites - and we are all going to drink them together at Oeno Maris! Expect bangers from Nyetimber & Gusbourne along with a few surprises as Tom talks us through his five sparklers in our intimate wine room.

Throughout the evening, we will showcase Oeno Maris’ delectable seafood, focusing on those caught locally here in the UK designed by owners Dan & Sarah to compliment the flavour profiles of the English wines.

Current Menu is shaping up to include:

  • Irish Carlingford Oysters, Tosazu, Yuzu Tobiko

  • Devon White crab, Autumn apple & Nori

  • Hand dived scallop from Penzance, Dashi, Black Truffle

  • Cornish turbot, Shiso, Beurre Blanc
